Take a WEEKEND en español® One-Day Workshop or Half-Day Workshop to jump-start your skills, or get back into Spanish after years of absence! Progress rapidly by taking a Four-Part Series or more of total immersion! These Workshops meet on Saturdays or Sundays -- every WEEKEND we have something going on!

Daytime and Evening Group Classes meet once a week for an hour and a half. We offer eight different skill levels, from New Beginners to Advanced. Our classes are conversation-based, moving you towards fluency by teaching you to think and speak in Spanish right from the first day. Grammar, reading, and writing are important parts of our work together, but speaking is always primary.

Come to our Weekend Retreats and experience Spanish IMMERSION in beautiful Point Reyes. Absolutely nothing works as well as SUSTAINED PRACTICE to obtain new language skills, confidence and FLUENCY. And when you immerse yourself for 3 days straight, using Spanish for all your interactions, it becomes a part of you!

LIVE THE LANGUAGE and culture as you study with us at our own private residence in beautiful, colonial Oaxaca, Mexico. Ample gardens, comfortable furnishings, and a convenient location near the center of town await your total immersion learning experience.

Oaxaca (pronounced WA-HA-CA), once the ancient center of zapoteca and mixteca cultures, is now the vibrant capital of the state of the same name. It is nestled in a lush valley, surrounded by the gentle hills of the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Sierra Madre Oriental.

Our excursions will take us to a number of indigenous villages near Oaxaca, home to many of the finest of Mexican artesanía--black pottery, wool rugs, fanciful carved wood animals, and much more. The stunning and unique archeological sites of Monte Albán and Mitla are inspiration to all who see them. Visits to these pueblos and prehispanic sites are part of our complete experience.

There’s no place like Oaxaca. It’s the perfect place to get to know the real Mexico, immersing yourself in the language and culture.

Medical Spanish
Currently, nearly 1 in 3 Californians are Latinos. The medical profession is one in which the need to communicate in Spanish is most severely felt. We can help you cope--we have regularly scheduled One-Day Workshops, and also work on a contract basis at your site, and our materials are available for purchase.

Custom Programs
We custom design programs, working at your location or ours, with companies, non-profits, and groups of any kind to help you meet long-term or short-term goals for cultural and linguistic competency.

Private Lessons
Meet here one-on-one with one of our instructors for intensive and rapid progress. Come once, or schedule a regular meeting time -- calendar allowing, any time of the day or evening, and for any length of time.
